Meet Dr. Vicki Vida

Kindness and compassion matter.

Dentistry has always been more than just a profession to me—it’s a way to make a profound difference in people’s lives. Our smiles are deeply tied to our confidence, appearance, and overall health. Whether it’s the first glance in the mirror each morning, snapping a selfie, or sharing a laugh with loved ones, the way we perceive ourselves matters. As a dentist, I get to help my patients feel better about their smiles and, in turn, their overall well-being.

I strive to treat every patient with kindness and understanding, building connections that go beyond dental care. Helping someone overcome their fear of the dentist, creating a warm and welcoming environment, and restoring oral health are some of the most rewarding aspects of my work. It’s an incredible feeling to see a patient’s confidence grow when they love their smile again.

My journey in dentistry began with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola Marymount University, followed by earning my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at UCLA. I further honed my skills during a General Practice Residency at Denver General Hospital and continue to advance my knowledge through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, San Diego Dental Society, California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.

As part of an Air Force family, we moved to Lancaster, CA in 1981 where my dad flew the SR-71 Blackbird plane. and I’ve been proud to call the Antelope Valley home since. My three children attended Vasquez High School, and I now share the house with a dog that keeps my on my toes.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time in nature—hiking, fishing, rock climbing, surfing, skiing, and paddleboarding are just a few of my favorite activities. I also love the beach, practicing yoga, gardening, and pursuing creative hobbies like jewelry making, pottery, crocheting, and reading.

I’m passionate about environmental advocacy, women’s rights, and LGBTQ rights, and I find balance in life through meditation and yoga. These values and activities ground me, allowing me to bring my best self to my work and my patients every day.
